Work With Me
/ THE PROBLEM /
Your team is capable, but you’re the one making sure everyone knows what’s happening and what needs to happen next.
You’ve delegated work before, but you still find yourself assigning, explaining, checking, reminding, and following up.
There are projects and improvements you want to move forward, but the day-to-day keeps taking priority.
Even when you step away, there are things you know will eventually make their way back to you if no one else is keeping track of them.
The business is running, but you’re still responsible for too much of what keeps it running.
/ THE SHIFT /
Over time, I become another person inside the business who understands what’s going on, knows what needs to happen next, and can keep things moving without everything coming back to you.
Projects get followed through. Open items get followed up on. Your team has another person they can communicate with. Operational details have someone keeping track of them.
You stay informed without having to be the person checking on everything yourself.
That gives you more time to focus on the parts of the business that actually require you.

/ THE SCOPE /
01
Client communication and follow-up, billing and invoice coordination, renewals, administrative processes, record keeping, task and deadline tracking, meeting coordination, and recurring operational work.
03
Keeping communication organized, following up on responsibilities, making sure priorities are clear, and helping information move between the people involved.
04
Improving workflows, documenting processes, organizing information, and fixing operational systems that are creating unnecessary work.
05
Tracking important numbers, maintaining dashboards and reports, and making sure you have a clear picture of what’s happening without having to go looking for it.
/ THE FIRST 90 DAYS /
LEARN + PRIORITIZE
During the first month, I’m learning your business, team, tools, current processes, and the responsibilities you’re handing over.
We’ll identify what needs attention first, establish priorities, and determine how we’ll communicate and work together. I’ll also begin taking recurring responsibilities off your plate.
TAKE OWNERSHIP
As I learn more of the business, you’ll need to give me less context and direction.
I’ll be handling the responsibilities we’ve agreed on, moving projects forward, following up where needed, coordinating with the people involved, and keeping track of what’s open.
IMPROVE
Once I understand how the business works, I can start identifying things that could work better.
That might mean improving a process, cleaning up a system, documenting a workflow, organizing information differently, or addressing something that has been creating unnecessary work for you or your team.

/ THE PROCESS /

001
APPLY
Tell me about your business, what’s currently taking up your time, and where you need support.
002
TALK
We’ll meet to talk through what’s happening behind the scenes, what you’d like to hand over, and what you need from an Operations Manager.
003
ONBOARD
I’ll get familiar with your team, tools, processes, priorities, and the responsibilities I’m taking over.
004
GET TO WORK
I’ll start handling the agreed-upon areas of the business and become more independent as I learn the context behind the work.
/ THE FIT /
Operations Management is designed for established service businesses and organizations with clients, ongoing work, and enough moving parts that managing everything yourself no longer makes sense.
WE’RE PROBABLY A GOOD FIT IF:
You want someone who can work independently once they understand your business.
You need more than occasional administrative help.
You want someone who can see the bigger picture while still paying attention to the details.
You’re comfortable giving me the context, access, and responsibility I need to do my job well.
You value clear communication, organization, follow-through, and someone who will ask questions when needed without requiring constant direction.
This probably isn’t the right fit if:
You’re still in the very early stages of building your business.
You mainly need help with a few isolated administrative tasks.
You want to approve every small step before work can move forward.
You need someone available throughout the entire workday or require full-time support.
/ THE INVESTMENT /
Your scope may include operations management, project management, team coordination, client and administrative operations, process improvement, reporting, documentation, and other operational responsibilities we agree on together.
Communication through Slack and email is included, along with regular alignment calls based on what we’re managing together.
Unused hours don’t roll over. If your business regularly needs more than the included monthly capacity, we’ll talk about whether additional support makes sense.
/ WHY MURIEL /

I CAN COME INTO AN EXISTING BUSINESS AND FIGURE IT OUT
I don’t expect you to spend weeks creating perfect documentation before I can help.
I’ll ask questions, learn your tools and processes, get familiar with the people involved, and build my understanding as I work.
MY BACKGROUND GOES BEYOND OPERATIONS
My work over the last 6+ years has included operations, project management, systems, and automation.
That experience helps me recognize when the problem is the workload, when a process isn’t working, when a system needs to change, or when something simply needs a clear owner.
I’M USED TO VERY DIFFERENT BUSINESSES
I’ve worked with software companies, agencies, service providers, entrepreneurs, coaches and consultants, and nonprofit organizations.
I’ve had to learn very different businesses and figure out what each one actually needs.
I FOLLOW THROUGH
If I’m responsible for something, I’m keeping track of it.
I’ll follow up, communicate when something changes, ask when I need clarification, and keep moving the work forward until it’s actually complete.

If you’re spending too much of your time keeping track of what’s happening behind the scenes, tell me about your business and what you’re currently carrying.
We’ll talk through what’s happening, what you’d like to hand over, and whether I’m the right person to take it on.
